indeed! one of the most touching stories of this year. real steel is not just some fight scenes. it tackles so many different things. i super love it. after watching the movie, i suddenly missed my dad. in the movie, max's (the child) father - charlie fought until the end. my dad is not here with me now to fight for me so i have no other choice but to fight for him. i am gonna make my dad proud of me.  to my constant readers, believe me. watch this movie and it will really deliver you a father and son bonding to the next level.....

when I was in madrid, we were cheering someone from bicol region for he passed the nursing board examinations. yahoo! way to go! when i reached home, OMG! as in Oh My Golly! posters are everywhere. congratulating people for passing board examinations. but do we really have to put it this way? first point, you think how many of these board passers will end up having their dream job? a lot of nurses find themselves behind the bars of some f^^k-stricken hospitals that instead of giving these poor and full spirited people their first paychecks they ask MONEY for a piece paper saying they are through with OJT. how sick! second, most of these posters bear the names of politicians - yes POLITICIANS. they are still alive and they use this time to promote themselves for the next election. how sick!...

i am not a fan of manny pacquiao. lol! i always say that. during my stay in chicago, most of my mexican friends know him and idolize him but not me. i hate him when he started doing legislative stuff, movies and singing. but for the issue with him about promotion as a reservist? he got me at his back on it. i don't think that being promoted to lt. colonel should be questioned. first, that is what the reservist is for. again, reservist. it doesn't mean that he is going to assume the position right there and then. his eligibility in the position is also an ace. in fact, HE IS MORE DETERMINED THAN MOST OF THE PEEPS IN THE ACTIVE SERVICE. he is more disciplined and oozing with ability to get things done. i think he's really good in the position. as one of the high ranking officials in AFP said,...

edward's little project

my mom encountered an accident around May. she had a fractured collar bone (left). she can not raise up her left hand and it's hard for her to do some household chores. unfortunately, it took a while before the bone started to regenerate - not until early this month. the doctor said that she can now remove her brace. she's so happy about the news. now, next problem is how to move her affected arm as normal as possible. the muscles in her collar bone became stiff and its affecting the movement - just imagine the muscle is immobile for five freaking months. doctor taught her a couple of exercises and he advised us to set up an overhead pulley...

nagulantang ang buong pilipinas sa pag-daan ng bagyong Pedring at Quiel. ang lakas ng ulan sa ilang parte ng pilipinas. malakas din ang hangin. dito sa cavite, malakas lang ang hangin, ang ulang dala ng bagyo ay di naman kadami. sa totoo lang di kami binaha sa lugar namin. ang isa sa masasabi kong masamang nangyari ay ang pagpapakawala ng tubig mula sa ilang "dams" (lagayan ng tubig) sa bulacan. dahil dito, binaha ng husto ang karamihan sa mga bayan ng nasabing probinsya. sabi ng ilan ay ang baha na naranasan nila halos matindi pa sa bagyong Ondoy at Milenyo (mga malalakas na bagyo na nanalasa nung 2009 at 2007 dito sa pilipinas). ang matindi pa dito, sikat na ang araw ay mataas pa rin ang baha. di humupa ang baha ng ilang araw. naging problema ang sanitation at tirahan. napakaraming naging...
