last meal

yesterday, i went to sta. cruz to visit a doctor that my sister suggested. doctor? for what? yes i am sick but looks great. people call this asymptomatic - a patient is sick but experiences no symptoms. i got this since 2003 - as far as i know. i was quite devastated when i heard about it but God pulled me from above. so here i am, moving on from dark past.

and the doctor advised us to do the following:

a. take up medicine. i bought me a couple of medicine.
b. no "long" running/lifting heavy weights. no marathon or long distance run. i can run for 15 to 30 mins brisk walking/running but no extensive run.
c. eat right. and by eating right means the following - no beef or pork. no processed food. no oil. eat fruits and vegetables. eat wheat bread.

it's kinda hard for me. especially if i am going to work but i need to do this for my own sake. before doing my "this is it" diet, i ate my "last meal". lol!

hopefully, i'll get well soon enough. also, i hope that i'll get thinner as well. i know i will. i believe.

dolphy...

dolphy is still @ makati med but he's getting stronger. so what's the buzz with dolphy? most of us only review/rekindle someone's life and achievement when the person is dead. but this time it's different. media's eyes are in makati med because of the great guy's critical condition.

well, i hope that he's going to live longer. dolphy is really a great actor and comedian. he's very humble. i haven't met him but i can see the sincerity in his eyes.

the philippine movie industry will be less colorful without dolphy.

mom went home...

fri. the doctor said, "wow, ok na po yung sugat nyo ah. recommend ko po kayo for discharge tomorrow!". well, in all fairness...my mom is a lot stronger this time. second time is a charm for her. lol!

we went home a day earlier than i expected. ruth and joel decided to stay over the night and so be it! they slept in the couch and me - in the long john. its uncomfortable but very rewarding. the view is awesome. 

i just paid, 65 PhP out of our total bill. thanks maxicare! kuya jaime fetched us and we ate our lunch @ north park. i was quite amazed that mom was able to walk - with a little help of course. 

the next few days is a challenge for me. reason? i need to work from home and be the home buddy as well. i worked from home from mon to thu. we had our quick check up last wed. i was wearing multiple hats - nurse, a programmer, boy/helper and boyfriend. lol!

oh well. life. i am so tired but its very rewarding. my girlfriend sometime said that this is a rare opportunity - to be of service to my mom. and i think she's right. no more "reklamo". no more "angry words". its pure service out of love. 

i love my mom! i love my izel! i love God!

we're here again @ makati med. tomorrow is my mom's big day. she's going to have another minor operation at the back of her knee (alak-alakan). i know she's very nervous to think that she's going to have an incision but it's better to have it today than to wait for the cyst to grow bigger. it's not her first time. she used to have the same diagnosis more than a year ago.

 my mom and my tita oma...

 wifi. yes! we took not so cozy room but decent enough to have at least a wifi. thanks to my medical insurance. lol! at least i can wait do something while probably waiting. i dont like the smell of hospitals.  eewww...

the re-knowned artist - dolphy - is also here in the same hospital. unfortunately he's in a bad condition.

...pana-MANIAC on the run...

it happened on April 23 when a so-called Panamanian diplomat raped a 19-year old Filipina. rape is not new here in our country. in fact, it's becoming more prevalent - probably because people are becoming more aware of these types of earth shattering incident.

more than that, instead of being held in court, he was released because of the diplomatic immunity. this is sover, beyond the limit, insanity. we have a court in this country to know facts. we have laws to protect each Filipinos in the Philippines. in this case, the court of law became numb and damn. they let someone go without pressing any charges against that PANAMANIAC! WTF! 


even the department of justice said that they cannot do something about it. WTH! where is the fearless Leila de Lima? are you still busy looking for evidences against CGMA and/or CJCorona?you have stopped an ex-President from getting out of the country but you cannot pin a diplomat down? grabe, someone needs to be on top of this.

all i can do is to pray. hhaayy. i personally do not know this young Filipina but i would like to pray for her so that he can continue with her life.

posters again?

you can feel that election is coming when you see some people (both private citizens and public officials) talking gentle reminder trash in the streets. their reminders may look good but they use holy week and graduation to do their early campaigns. 

wow! it's just april and here we are talking about politics. let's talk about two of these posters...

semana santa. people in media describes it as human exodus (where the hell that came from? exodus? do they know what exodus mean?). anyways, it's a term used to describe humongous number of people  going somewhere else to spend a long weekend.

in the picture is brgy. captain of bacoor - Ramon "Jolo" Revilla III. he was just appointed as board member because he became the president of the association of brgy. capt. in the whole province. so, what is a picture of a brgy. capt. in bacoor doing in a street of tanza? well, he's just reminding people to have a safe travel during the peak travel season.

is this needed? is it beneficial to all concern? lol! true example of what i call as a scrap. he should have spent his money to a charitable institution. holy week is season of alms giving, anyways. so, where is the reminder of our beloved vice governor? is it true that jolo revilla is planning to run for vice governor next year? lol! well, no comment so far. i have no issues with his intention, but i hope it is a clean one. early politicking is really a big "no, no" for me.

graduation day. graduation day is really special to students who have shown dedication in their studies. after years, here they are adding the rosters of non-employed people of our country. lol! well, that's a different issue. here's the real issue, who is Arch. Boyblue Aguinaldo-Abaya? i know some peeps felt so-"kilig" every time he attends graduation in behalf of his brother - incumbent congressman jun abaya. so, what is this poster for?

it's my first time to see his picture in posters like this. is this really needed? can someone else tell me what's the superlative form of scrap? is it "scrapiest"? what's will happen to the graduates of rosario, cavite with/without the picture of this guy along gen. trias drive? is it true that he'll be running for congressman next year to replace his brother?

politics today is "sover". if you don't have money to pay for these posters, you will not win. if you're not with influential people like abaya's and revilla's, you won't have the guts to run. if you don't have good looks, you won't have the courage to pose to get their pictures taken. 

this is a wake up call for every filipinos. let us wisely pick people to serve us. i am not saying not to vote these people. my thoughts are simple, vote for people who has political will

...to change the face of rosario...to revolutionize cavite...to change the filipinos within us.

thanks for the rain

dear God -

early in the morning, you greeted us with an awesome. i always knew that its going to be an awesome day for me and other people to work and do their chores. you let the sun sees us this morning but the clouds were there, too. and honestly, i did not realize what this beautiful day has to offer. all i know is that you are going to make it special.

someone texted and said we're going to have eucharist tonight. i said..."wow! a gift from God.". you made time pass by and made me write some long overdue entries. though its quite hot, you gave me an idea to have the fan turned on. and now, you made the rain fall so heavy to ease the humid day.

thank you for the sun and the rain. this day is really awesome for you made all of them. tomorrow, is going to be another day. please protect me and guide me for i am going to have a 10K run in BGC. if you are going to make it a rainy day, please make me "sick"-proof runner.

to you God, we always pray. thank you for loving a sinner like me.

bull run for enduRUNce

last jan 8, i completed my first 10K run for the year...its the PSE Bull Run. it's a difficult one. first, i don't have any practice. i haven't run for three weeks and i can feel that my tummy is already protruding. another thing is that i have LBM. lol! i actually am having trouble with my bowel that morning. i prayed and leave it to God.

the route is quite good but the lights aren't that good in some parts. if you'll know me personally, you know that my vision isn't good at dark. luckily, there are some white ladies - ladies with fair complexion that i use as reference on which way i should go. lol!

it's not my best time but it was my longest run without any stops - definitely a test of my endurance.

pretty bad that i have no pictures taken during the event. anyways, i took a picture myself and that is after the run.

thank you, wet tissue...

WARNING: medyo eeewww ang post ko ngayon. ahehehe...

i do not know kung anong nangyari pero ilang araw na akong may diarrhea. kanina nga,  i need to go home pa dahil sa medyo nahihilo ako. the nurse said its probably because of my diarrhea. kailangan ko daw ng maraming tubig at maraming electrolyte. thanks sa pocari sweat. lol!

so what's the wet tissue for? ahehehe. alam nyo na. di ko kasi mapigilan eh. buti na lang at may wet tissue, i felt more comfortable. lol!

wet tissue plays an funny role in my college years. one of my classmates used this wet tissue every minute of the day - especially during summer. she's an addict. during those times, pinagtatawanan ko pa sya. and now, wet tissue is already part of my accoutrements. ahehehe. di lang siya pang-cr, pang sports pa.

when I was in madrid, we were cheering someone from bicol region for he passed the nursing board examinations. yahoo! way to go! when i reached home, OMG! as in Oh My Golly! posters are everywhere. congratulating people for passing board examinations. but do we really have to put it this way?

first point, you think how many of these board passers will end up having their dream job? a lot of nurses find themselves behind the bars of some f^^k-stricken hospitals that instead of giving these poor and full spirited people their first paychecks they ask MONEY for a piece paper saying they are through with OJT. how sick!

second, most of these posters bear the names of politicians - yes POLITICIANS. they are still alive and they use this time to promote themselves for the next election. how sick! as in super sick! i am expecting them to pass some laws to protect these nurses and not to spend their time going to printing shops to have these posters done. gggrrr...por pabor!

lastly, nurses are one of those courses/majors that can do more than they are expected to do. hopefully, they took their lessons seriously and not thinking when to leave our country. face it, most of the peeps take nursing as their doorstep to canada, japan, us and other countries. PEOPLE WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU HAVE YOUR GOALS SET ON THE RIGHT WAY. yun lang!

lt. colonel manny pacquiao

i am not a fan of manny pacquiao. lol! i always say that. during my stay in chicago, most of my mexican friends know him and idolize him but not me. i hate him when he started doing legislative stuff, movies and singing. but for the issue with him about promotion as a reservist? he got me at his back on it.

i don't think that being promoted to lt. colonel should be questioned. first, that is what the reservist is for. again, reservist. it doesn't mean that he is going to assume the position right there and then. his eligibility in the position is also an ace. in fact, HE IS MORE DETERMINED THAN MOST OF THE PEEPS IN THE ACTIVE SERVICE. he is more disciplined and oozing with ability to get things done. i think he's really good in the position. as one of the high ranking officials in AFP said, manny can be the head of the battalion that will spearhead the sports and fitness activities. he's good at it!

second, he's the people's champ. i may not like him but most of the filipinos do. police officials know that. even criminals stop their wrong doing just to watch his fight, right? he can be an advocate of peace and order. and being a reservist is an awesome way to do it. people will look up to him. a living hero will lead an advocacy through good actions and deed.

lastly, education isn't important on this. some officials are questioning him saying that he doesn't have any educational background. this makes me very mad. they are belittling people. so eye-poor (matapobre) lol! most of our dead heroes did not have proper education but they defended our country well, right? andres bonifacio is the best example of this one. super grabe kayo! for me, please please please make OUR COUNTRY PROUD first before you throw stones to the poor guy. you don't even know how to make a name out of yourself. hay! crab mentality it is. poor people - so blinded.

will time big time!

will time big time is a filipino variety show from TV 5 from mons to sats at around 6 pm onwards. its a cool show. its fun. however, i don't like it.

its not the type of show that satisfies my tastes. i have nothing against the show but seems that its no longer a variety show. for me, its more than a variety show. its a like a cult...

sorry, i have nothing against willie revillame but the people are looking after him just to ask for money. a lot of them are going after him and "oh my!" its no longer pleasant to my eye. its more of idolatry for me. they are idolizing willie. they are praising him like God which is no longer good.

so sad that Filipinos should have someone like him just to uplift his/her faith to God...hhaayy, so sad...

if ever i'll become a lawyer or a law maker, i'll pass a bill to remove these kind of shows. its no longer healthy...hhaaayyy!

grabe, i am here alone. watching a movie. i need to rest for i am not feeling well. yes! i am not feeling well yet i still need to run tomorrow. my very first 10k. it sounds funny dahil for almost a month i keep on my weekly routine pero bakit ngayon pa ako nag-kasakit. waah! 

di ko na mababago. tama. di ko na mababalik yung pagkakataon. ahehehe. ok! i just need to be a better person today. ok. i need to sleep and rest! tomorrow is gonna be a big day...

December 7…I do not know what is happening with me. I should be happy yet so sad. I should feel excited yet so numb. If someone else will be given this opportunity, he/she might be shouting out of joy but here I am sitting in my bedroom talking to you…

…I am not feeling well. For three consecutive days, I was suffering from severe cold (baka nga sinusitis na). I was hoping that I could attend my last Christmas Party with Helen and Que but I guess I can not…

…My Mom is not around. I am not comfortable if she is not around whenever I have cold. LOL. Quite funny but it is true. She attended the Grand Marian Procession in Intramuros. I would like to come, too. But I am really not feeling well today…

…I do not want to start my countdown but I guess I have to. It will be 27 days to go. Yes, I was supposed to leave on January 3. This might be what Ana explains to be last minute tutut.

Whatever this feeling is, I DO NOT CARE. All I want is this feeling to be tutut. NoW!
