special week

this week is special. so special. very special. i just love it! i was able to send my girlfriend to her workplace (though i usually do) for one whole week. usually, it's just mondays to fridays. she wanted me to rest on saturdays but i took it as opportunity to run a couple of more laps - since i don't have work afterwards. but just last night, she texted me saying that we can meet before i run. sssooo cccoooooolll! sssooo hhhaaappppppyyy!

thursday, she cooked pancit for me. i ate it once i reached the office with two slices of bread and tea - of course over work. lol!

this made my week extra special. ^ - ^ .

thank you for handling the situation gracefully

it was a tiring day. i was about to call it a day when something popped up in my outlook for a meeting @ 7 pm. and the title has those 6 letter word that i hate so much - URGENT! being a support member, i need to deal with these stuff. yes. stress is next. all the peeps in the invites are indians - meaning "i am alone". then next more stress.

well, its better to talk to them today than to run after tomorrow. i gave them the details that our team need and they need. the conference ended few minutes before 7.30. informing my leads and manager is another case, it was hard to put it into words so it took me a while before i forwarded an email.

10.15. i was supposed to go online by 10. but i am watching budoy so i decided to make myself available after the teleserye. a couple of more minutes, i saw an email coming from my manager saying - "thank you for handling the situation gracefully!".

as in wow! it is really worth more than a month salary. it is really true that if you love what you do, it will love you, too. money is good but words such as those is more than worthy enough. God, thank you for your blessings.

azkals on sexual harassment issue with cristy ramos

others say that they got the looks, they got the balls to kick some ass and they got the girls running and screaming after them. 

and to add one more thing in the list is they got the attitude. hehe. my friend use to say that i got some attitude problem but these two football players from azkals beat be up.

they are two of the many half breed athletes of our country. moy is half chinese while guirado is half spanish. they are sover piling up like pancakes. and you know what do they have in common? they always say, "i am a filipino by heart". wow! then, you'll hear both gurls and girls screaming like sirens when they saw these athletes. ok, maybe i am getting a little over the edge and too harsh on them. they really give glory to our country but do we need them? unfortunately - yes. we need these people for they are more athletic. moreover, they have the money to train (they could have started kicking some balls when they were toddlers). ok, i'll rephrase it. they have the right experience. 

given that they have different culture as ours, we couldn't blame them to have a different attitude - its a pain in the ass to admit that. but it is not an excuse to have a bad one. again, guirado and moy are just two of the half breed athletes that we have in the country. so, are we going to expect some more of these arrogant behaviors? i am not saying that all of them have dogmatic intuition.

this incident should serve as a lesson to the philippine athletic commission. think not just once, but hundred times before we IMPORT athletes. two of the basic things about being an athlete are discipline and respect. that's the bottom line.

ideal man straight from a real man

yesterday is quite unusual. i don't usually watch showbiz oriented talk show every saturday. i just don't feel like it. anyhow, i managed to pull myself in front of a television and watch Showbiz Insider Report. it featured John Lloyd Cruz and Gerald Anderson. well, they both have the charisma for gurls (GUys na pa-giRL) and ladies - of course. after the interview, joey marquez (one of the hosts) was right that most people will really fall in love with these two actors - and might be thinking that they are the most ideal boyfriends in the land. the interview really made it that way. well, interviews were really like as if pulling the best things from someone else. however, joey gave three characters to be an ideal man.

1. assume yourself with abundance of sense of humor. women loves humor.
2. be mature.
3. have security that you can protect your loved ones.

i feel that in order for someone to meet the girl of his dream, someone don't need to be as good looking as artists do. he just have to be himself. he doesn't need these ideal characteristics. he just have to be honest.

i am not perfect. this is the reason why i don't like to date someone who has been a friend of mine for a couple of years (we were at the same community). but look where i ended up with. i am with someone whom i am acquainted with for a couple of years. she accepted me as i am. and that's why i love her so.

God is the greatest shoemaker. He sees to it that he creates a pair.
