corazon aquino. when you ask me about democracy, one thing that will come into my mind is cory aquino. it is true that opportunity comes only once. opportunity to serve and protect the people out of dictatorship. other people don't like her and criticizes her for being weak. so, who among our presidents are good enough to face a tyrant? a woman loved by filipinos. i love cory aquino. she made me realize that every filipino deserves something better. she is also humble. i remember that she said sorry to estrada's for supporting arroyo when the latter was ousted for presidency. aquino then supported the campaign to put arroyo down from her reign but was unsuccessful to do so.

miriam defensor-santiago. "i was born this way." lol! i simply love this line by miriam. in one of my facebook post, i described her as one of the best filipina legislators in the land. senate will be dumpsite of boring political warlords without her presence. when she won a seat in ICC (international criminal court), i was very happy. at last a filipina in international justice system. yes, she can be a little over the top in terms of her emotions, but come to think of it - we all are!

i may call her as one of those political butterflies. she used to be an enemy of the estrada's but later supported his presidency. she even said that she's willing to drop off a plane without a parachute if estrada will be ousted. when estrada stepped down, she claimed that she lied. lol! very honest, very witty. i love her so much. if my dad is alive, he would agree with me.
also, we may have different position in terms of RH Bill but i salute her being who she is.

bianca gonzales. if someone will ask me, "who taught you how to blog?". this girl will be one of those on the top list. others challenge me to be a blogger but bianca gonzales inspired me to blog. she made me feel that blogging - no matter what medium or language - should be my way of life. like bianca, i have so many ideas in my mind. and before, i have no way to express so i just it keep it and let it go. when you'll see her blog, its very simple yet full of sense. it is really awesome!

the more i read on her blogs, the more i feel that we're soulmates. yes funny, right! in one point of my life, i claim that she's my girlfriend. lol! i wish she knew about it. her humility, intelligence and wit makes me fall in love with her. lol! but of course, i need to wake up and tell myself that i am dreaming. i am not as tall and as good looking as john christopher intal.

anyhow, being her soulmate is enough for me - i really claimed that she is my soulmate!

anne curtis. i think anne still has a lot of things to improve. however, her strong desire to do things that is way beyond her comfort zone makes me think that she deserves a slot in my top 5. i am a frustrated singer myself. and to top it all, i really have no sense of putting music and lyrics together. lol! but this anne curtis made me think that i can also sing. dreams do really come true. she even made a historic concert in araneta. some notes were flat and are really out of tune. yet, she's still on it. she's about to have another concert in cebu and prepping up for a concert tour in US. this girl rocks. a true anne-bisyosa.

her acting is also getting better and better. i simply love the way she portray her role in no other woman. her detractors might say different things but i don't care. she influenced me to dream big for it will really come true.

rosa rosal. when i was young, i always see her in then PTV4. she's used to be the governor of philippine national red cross. a true epitome of a filipina in action, she managed to help filipinos without asking in return. rosa rosal pulled the spirit of volunteerism in me. she made me think that honesty and sincerity are more than enough to help people help themselves out of hopeless situation.

she's also a famous actress and known for her craft. some trivia here, she's the model of the famous trophy of FAMAS. she starred in some different movies which paved her way to stardom.

if we are going to do some math, known actress plus public service is equal to running for election. but this girl would rather continue doing her volunteer job. she believes that she can help other people without the pork barrel. oh men! she's really nice, right?
