diaz, eulalio is the head of land registration authority (lra). he recently came into impeachment trial as a witness for the defense.
well to you a brief background, it seems that it started with the tupas (head of the prosecution team) reaching out to diaz for the list of lands and properties of cj corona. he used the search engine of lra and pulled at least 45 properties. this is very tempting in both the eyes and ears of tupas because this can strengthen their case against corona. imagine 45 properties which is worth millions of pesos. juicy, right? this news reached the public through media. reason? prosecution loves the limelight. probably, they are frustrated actors and actresses. anyways, that's beyond my control.
apparently, all of these 45 properties do not belong to corona. some are just names out of nowhere and with same name as the son in law of the chief justice. funny right? innocent people are being dragged into an issue that they are not aware of.
and now, since he's in front of the senator judges, what are you going to expect? a rumble! defensor-santiago even said - "i commend your ignorance". diaz keeps on saying that the inaccurate list isn't his fault. moreover, the fierce senator judge linked the PNoy to diaz. diaz and pnoy are batch mates. diaz used to worked as a legal counsel of aquino. and to top them all, diaz is a volunteer in aquino's road to presidency. now tell me, what' on your mind? a very filipino way of paying debt of gratitude right.
