its more beautiful in the philippines v.2012
last year, a lot of filipinas marked a history in beauty contests - ms. universe, ms. world and ms. earth. they may not won the title (just runners up) but it still. being one of the finalists makes me very proud of our race.
5.33 AM/5.41 AM
i am a morning person. even though i sleep late, i can wake up as early as 4.30 am. so, its not a big deal for me to make a morning run and/or fetch her. hhhmm...i assume you know who am i referring to. for the past couple of months, i fetch her every morning and then i go to work. 6 am bus ride makes me an early bird for i usually arrive 7.30 @ mandaluyong.
goodbye my friend
my reebok shoes (trail) is now a record holder. so far, it is my longest running buddy. he used to be my gym buddy as well. i just love it! but like any other love, you need to know when to let go. it is so hard to say goodbye to a friend like my shoes. i may look stupid to some folks but i really love this one.
pilgrimage to madrid v.10
afterwards, nagpunta kami sa Palomeras Altas (sana tama ako...lol!). this is where kiko initiated the neo catechumenal way. dito kami kumain ng lunch tapos konting explantion si luigi tungkol sa place. iba yung feeling nung nandun ako. i felt my root. diniscuss sa amin how things went through at may mga pinakitang pictures with kiko and carmen. luigi reminded us of what kiko and the pope told us...

happy new year...
camarines norte trip v.01
day 1 is the reunion day. florizel is not feeling well so i am alone meddling with her relatives. i talked to a couple her pamangkin. there was a kid - son of kuya elmer - who keeps on talking to me in bicolano. all i understood was "dakulang paputok" which means a big firecracker. lol! i also danced with flor's brothers and had a couple of shots of GSM Blue. kuya eddie and kuya ray were already dancing and strutting - a sign of extreme amount of alcohol. but they were good to me. kuya toy and kuya oloy is fantastic. they are very honest and straight to the point. my answer is simply NO.
day 2 is simply a good day. it was raining but a little rain so - no water. tatay went out to get a couple buckets of water. so, i went out with him. frankly, it was hard. going to faucet is so slippery. people were looking to me. silently, talking about me. anyways, i am glad that i went with him.
saying goodbye is the hardest thing. 8 pm philtranco bus station. hhaayy...it's just a couple of days, i know. we'll see each other soon.

echo 2011
...continue to be a good servant of God.
i am not a perfect creature. i am not good looking. i am fat. i am a sinner. i am selfish. i say bad words. i still love money. despite all of this, he chose me to talk so i am.
as one of those people who attended the regional convivence, i was assigned to several tasks during the echo. of course, one of them is the video presentation. its the video of us when we went to madrid last august for WYD. i also have several assignments.
in one of my introductions, i suddenly realized that i am already talk like a catechist. lol! oh men! it's not part of my plan to be one but God chose me.

ilocos tour v.03.02
in fact. mas nagustuhan ko pa ang pinakbet kaysa sa adobo na kinain namin. tapos umalis na kami at we took the road less travelled. mas mabilis daw dun kaso lang di pa masyadong maayos ang daan. we took the risk and that is worth it. we had fun. di kasi kami maka-akyat dahil sa soft yung ground. ayun, nagtulak sila at ako ay nagpicture lang. lol!
at tawag tuloy sa akin ni aldrin ay inutil. lol! after that funny story, we went to bacarra church. maganda daw yung bell church nila dito. at di nga ako nabigo. ang ganda nga! i super love bell churches. this is one of the best na nakita ko.
afterwards, kumain kami ng native na pagkain ng ilocos. ang empanada. unfortunately, its not that good. di masarap. lol! this is the worst empanada na nakain namin while nasa ilocos kami. we arrived laoag quite early. so, we still have plenty of time to rest, talk and do whatever we want. noong una nakakatamad lumabas, pero dahil sa wala naman masyadong tricycle sa lugar, we decided to stay. pero di namin natiis kaya lumabas na rin kami. lol!
pumunta kami sa laoag proper. dun kami kumain sa saramsam restaurant. sobrang cozy nung restau pero mura lang yung food. i had a plate of saramsam pasta. it was the best pasta na nakain ko, considering na pinalalagyan pa sa akin ng bagoong. oh my! sobrang sarap talaga!
masarap din yung iced tea nila na nilagyan ng isang herb. hahaha! nalimutan ko lang yung name. the food, place and ambiance in general is awesome.
we ended the day by talking about my life. di ko pedeng reveal dito. aldrin and i had a little tutut. pero we're friends. kilala nya ako, kilala ko siya.
ilocos tour v.03.01
we then went to agua grande. di naman kami nag-tagal kasi medyo lumalakas ang ulan. bbooo! we went a little far to Paraiso ni Anton. it's like a simple stone formation lang naman with Virgin Mary in the place. tumuloy kami sa Mir-al-Mar para maligo - as in beach. di ako mahilig sa beach. as in, with my big tummy and a lot of other undesirable things, no comment. pero the weather is so perfect, di masyadong mainit ang araw at kami lang naliligo. naligo na din akong tulad ni aldrin. ang lakas ng alon, parang kukuhanin ka talaga papuntang gitna. sobrang tawa ako ng tawa dahil noon lang ako nakapag-laro nang ganun.
wow! para akong bata, as in batang nagtatampisaw at nakikipaghabulan sa mga alon. tuwang tuwa ako. i will definitely go back to pagudpod. after that, bumalik na kami sa resort. then, we packed our things and then we go go sago to laoag - out last stop. pero on our way, nabutas na talaga yung gulong. kailangang mag-pa-vulcanize.
medyo natagalan kaya naman nagmamadali na rin kami papuntang laoag. marami kasi pa kaming dadaanan papunta dun sa laoag. after a few mins nakarating kami sa bangui windmills. oh men! windmills. sobrang lakas ng hangin. the sand along the coast were banging into our body. nung una masakit, pero i got use to it. para ngang naging therapeutic yung dating. lol!
to be continued...

ilocos tour v.02
In our way to Pagudpod, we ate at Laoag City - Macy's is the name. The place is awesome and reminds me of Johnny Rockets @ San Jose. After that, we had each other a sundae from Jobee. Then, we go! Its about 1.30 pm that time when we were back on the road. I learned some Ilocano words like ...
We stopped at Parola Cape Bojeador. The lighthouse is kind of an old and the wind turbulence is awesome. The place is quite creepy but its good - an awesome place. We took a lot of pictures syempre!
Then, we went to a nearby place where a stone formation is awesome! As in, AWESOME! Sobrang lakas din ng hangin. Tumatayo yung buhok ko sa sobrang lakas. LOL!
Next stop is Kapurpurawan. It is a limestone formation which is of course in white color. Kapurpurawan ay nangangahulugang pag-kaputi-puti. Unfortunately, we were not able to look closely dahil sa high tide. We need to pass through a water stream in order to get there.
Before we reach Pagudpud, we'll pass through and will be able to see Bangui Windmills. They look so awesome! It's not yet time to see them closely so we stopped at the nearby view deck. It's like a dream to see them - but probably not now.
We touched down at around 7 to 8 pm. Before going to the resort, we came passed through the town's public market. Empanada is one our targets and it is awesome! Going to Villa del Mar is not good. The road is not lighted up and my eyes are not good at it. LOL! Makatapos ang ilang kembot at tumbling, we reached the resort.
Tanduay Ice and midnight snack ended our day. Sino may sabing bawal ang pagkain sa loob ng kwarto? LOL!

...why didn't he tell me?
...am i such a weakling that i may not understand his situation?
...did i mentioned anything that may have had hurt feelings?
well, all of those questions were unuttered. seems that it's no longer needed. a gay friend of mine said that its no longer needed...that i should just accept it as it is and move on to my life...that i should just let it go.
and so it's done. he's my friend and forever will be!
