i hate you. i hate you because i can't hate you.
it's not what you can or cannot do. it's what you should do.
di lahat ng gusto mo, makukuha mo.
i have so many reasons to hate you. pero di ko magawa dahil mahal kita.
mga kuwentong tsubibo ng buhay ko...
last year, a lot of filipinas marked a history in beauty contests - ms. universe, ms. world and ms. earth. they may not won the title (just runners up) but it still. being one of the finalists makes me very proud of our race.
i am a morning person. even though i sleep late, i can wake up as early as 4.30 am. so, its not a big deal for me to make a morning run and/or fetch her. hhhmm...i assume you know who am i referring to. for the past couple of months, i fetch her every morning and then i go to work. 6 am bus ride makes me an early bird for i usually arrive 7.30 @ mandaluyong.
my reebok shoes (trail) is now a record holder. so far, it is my longest running buddy. he used to be my gym buddy as well. i just love it! but like any other love, you need to know when to let go. it is so hard to say goodbye to a friend like my shoes. i may look stupid to some folks but i really love this one.
afterwards, nagpunta kami sa Palomeras Altas (sana tama ako...lol!). this is where kiko initiated the neo catechumenal way. dito kami kumain ng lunch tapos konting explantion si luigi tungkol sa place. iba yung feeling nung nandun ako. i felt my root. diniscuss sa amin how things went through at may mga pinakitang pictures with kiko and carmen. luigi reminded us of what kiko and the pope told us...

Enthalpy is a measure of the total energy of a thermodynamic system. It includes the internal energy, which is the energy required to create a system, and the amount of energy required to make room for it by displacing its environment and establishing its volume and pressure.
Diyos ba siya? di natin malalaman kung kailan tayo kukuhanin ng Diyos. kaya wala po kayong karapatang magsalita ng ganyan. sa halip po, dapat at pasalamatan nyo yung Diyos dahil may mga tumutulong pa po sa inyo. di tulad ng ginawa nyong pang-iiwan sa daddy ko nung nasa ospital siya. nasaan po kayo nun? tanging gusto lang po ng daddy ko ay makita kayong mga kapatid nya. wala po siyang interes sa pera nyo o kung ano man ibibigay nyo. presence nyo lang po hinihingi nya, hindi nyo pa po mapagbigyan. kayo po nanghihingi pa ng pera.full of bitterness right? truth is i don't like to help him. but i think this is what i should do. so, is He calling me to become a better person? i think yes. calling me to become a better person. prayer is all i need. again, relieving to my thoughts that - There are times when you have to say NO in the things that you have been dreaming to say YES.
"The Philippines was actually my training ground. I did a lot of crazy stuff over there. I started acting, I released two albums. I got an award for Favorite New Male Artist. It’s great. People actually buy your music. It’s a good feeling. But I just really wanted to come back to succeed in Australia."
J: Talaga?
L: Oo, promise.
J: Sige.
L: Ano, bati na tayo?
(sabay appear nila Jonas at Lorenzo)
L: Tsaka Brad, wag kang matakot mawalan ng pagkakataon. Magaling ka naman eh. Masipag pa. So, sigurado ako marami pang magagandang oppotunities ang darating sa iyo.
J: Salamat Brad.
Paolo Benigno ‘Bam’ A. Aquino IV belongs to a new generation of Filipino leaders who have sought out solutions to social problems in new and innovative ways. Bam and his team have helped thousands of underprivileged women in various parts of the Philippines work their way out of poverty through the mutli-awarded social enterprise, The Hapinoy Program. The Hapinoy Program helps small mom-and-pop stores in the Philippine countryside develop into more sustainable businesses through business aggregation, community-organizing and personal development programs.Edsel Salvana. this doctor has been a part of balik scientist program of DOST last 2008. an internist by profession in cleveland, ohio, he is also an expert in infectious diseases and tropical medicine. being part of the program alone, made me realize that he deserves the spot. see >>
In 2011, The Hapinoy Program won the UN’s Project Inspire Award, besting over 400 social enterprises from all over the world. With business partner, Mark Ruiz, Bam was named as the Asian Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the World Economic Forum’s Schwab Foundation for Social Enterprises also in the same year.
Bam’s work in alleviating poverty through development work and social enterprise has won accolades here and abroad. As early as 2006, he was recognized as a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. In that same year, he was chosen to be part of Asia Society’s pioneer batch of Asia 21 Young Leaders. In 2010, Bam was was chosen as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Men of the Philippines (TOYM) for 2010 in the category Social Enterprise and Community Development.
Previous to his work in the Hapinoy Program, he became the youngest person to head a government agency in the Philippines when he was appointed as the Chairman of the National Youth Commission (NYC) when he was 26 years old.
Dr. Edsel Maurice Salvana turned his knowledge and career in the medical field into a way to help those suffering from HIV/AIDS. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, he completed his residency and obtained specialized diplomas in international infectious and tropical diseases in the United States. He studied the HIV/AIDS epidemic that occurred in both Africa and the United States during the 1980s and deems it a human catastrophe that must not be repeated.to both of these awesome pinoys! congratulations!
Upon Dr. Salvana’s return to the Philippines, he discovered an increase of HIV/AIDS cases in his home country. He immediately took action and started a vigorous awareness and research campaign long before the Philippine government officially recognized the epidemic.
His early detection of the disease spurred government agencies to make HIV/AIDS policy a priority and initiated positive changes regarding testing and treatment. Dr. Salvana has taken his campaign global by delivering educational, action-oriented speeches about the epidemic to the United Nations and the United States Peace Corps. Locally, he treats HIV/AIDS patients at the Philippine General Hospital and also established the first Philippine HIV/AIDS fellowship program to increase care for the disease. Dr. Salvana’s extensive medical background and vibrant passion to protect others make him a strong advocate for HIV/AIDS in his community and around the world.
"Hindi ho ba kaya, noong wala pang DILG secretary ay maraming mga maiitim at maliliit na mga maligno ang siya pong naka-ano dyan, umaabang-abang para makuha po ang pwestong yan. Pero mabuti na lamang po, ay binasbasan po ng kaliwanagan ng pag-iisip ang ating pinuno na si P-Noy (Aquino) at si Secretary Robredo ang kanyang napili para dyan po manungkulan."
"Population control and the size of the family are not the problems. Good governance is the challenge. Spending so much time and effort to cause a reduction, and to intrude in the life of families will merely destroy the values - primary of which is the valuing of life - which will merly serve as a band-aid solution.".
"Population control damages people's thinking by permanently accepting the distorted notion that pregnancy is a problem to be avoided. Materialism has overtaken values in today's world. The young are taught that they can engage in sex as long as they do not get pregnant. This is exactly the unwritten message, the signal if you will, of the RH bill you are supporting."
...i already presented a document of the pontifical council for the family on sexual education. it is said in the introduction to this book as help to the parents that...
among the several difficulties that the parents have today is certainly that of offering the children an adequate preparations to the adult life, in particular for what concerns the education to the true significance of sexuality.
in the past, the family would not be able to provide an explicit sexual education, because the general culture was helping and was objectively helpful in protecting to keep chastity, etc.
the school, then, often replacing the family, gives more information then formation. sometimes it is given a deformation rather than formation.
it is very urgent that the parents have the right-duty of transmitting them a healthy sexual education.thus, responsible parenthood is the key to population growth. but, do parents really know that they have these responsibilities? i don't think so. how many of us have parents who taught us about sex? i can only count a few people - not even 10.
real submission is looking into the gifts and inner beauty of one another.
following God's will is difficult to comprehend. but if you'll just obey His spirit, that is when you'll become a gift.
